2014- A New Season

This year promises to be a busy one for Iglesia Galilea. There will be numerous teams and several projects to keep them busy. In Membrial, there will be ongoing work to finish the remainder of the school and to construct the Church. In Zapote, there will be work with the Food Machine, house and stove building and projects around the new second floor addition to the school. 

Each of the projects is designed to empower the children of the communities as well as their family. The  short term goal of the projects is to better the living conditions of the communities and help them to prepare for a future in a changing Guatemalan economy. The long term goal is to bring whole communities into right relationship with Jesus and to make His name known.

All of these projects in Guatemala happen because of the hard work of dozens of volunteers that come and spend one or two weeks of their own vacation time to work and because of the generous donors that support the work. Along with the need to support project, there is a need for sponsors to keep the children in school. Each child is fed daily and provided many essentials to be able to attend the schools.
